Yes they are getting paid more than everyone else. If your monthly paid and on a Wallington you'll get nothing, only the weekly paid get it. Particularly galling if you're on a new contract, monthly paid, and Wallington week and your already on less than the bloke whos getting this free money.

This seems a total farce MW has now posted most staff will only get £100 or so and only staff due to get>£500 are due to receive letters.

We've got posties in our DO who've got in excess of a £1,000 but others only £200 even though they work similar hours, there seems no logic to the payments, it's like lucky dip what payment you get.

I "think" the key is what Salary Sacrifice they had coming out of their wages, larger deduction the more money being refunded?

It's work schedule combined with something else which is why Salary Sacrifice has come up as a theory. RM appear to have scrapped most of the Benefits available and added a 20% ? buffer to stop anyone going below the minimum wage while using Salary Sacrifice

I spoke to 2 people who picked up extra 500 and 700 only diff between the 2 is how much OT they worked and when. 1 stays out during normal weekly hours 10 or 15 mins to finish now off now and again other guy works days off in wally week. I got extra 1200 and work zero OT but was paying C2W since Feb 2025.

Ah yes I also pay the extra pension booster. I mean I can't explain nothing, I had my letter today and I only spoke to 2 others through messenger who both work at my office so that's all I can confirm. Neither of them pay salary sacrifice either, not sure about the booster.

There will be circle 9000 individuals on old contracts who will receive this payment.

All of those entitled to this is individuals who are on an attendance pattern which means they work more hours per week in order to get a week or weeks off. This applies to Wallingtons or other Banked duties.

That's not correct - I'm on a standard 9 day fortnight but I've got £250 extra this week.
