I'm 55... full time... 24 years RM.
In June got £9k lump sum after tax from pension I'd had years/not paid into.
In July got age 60 lump sum of around £15k after tax from RM
Just had email from HMRC saying my tax code is going to change..
can I get this stopped/query it?
Thanks.

Re: Tax Code increase
If your tax code increases, it means you can earn more before you start paying tax.
It's when it goes down you've got to worry.

Re: Tax Code increase
It’s just an HMRC computer glitch that thinks those one-off lump sums are regular monthly income, just HMRC or update it on the app.
