Just wondering?????

Post by Prawn Star »

I've recently stopped using my car,I'm using a trolly instead,I've only one drop box on my walk-which is miles away from what i'd call the central point of my walk.the distance from my office,to walk is around 1.5 miles, and from finishing my walk is around 2.2.Basicly i'm walking 4.8 miles with a trolly.

what is the maxium distance a trolly should be used?

(i don't want to kick up a fuss only to look like a lemon)

I'm not really fussed about booking extended, its all money to me.

Any one else in similar circumstances?

It's not a decision i've taken lightly.but wear an tear on the car and petrol prices.I used to make time but i don't see my sacrifices as efficiant.

I'd merge quite a lot before, this is my overtime now.

And with respect to my Doms they've been totaly behind me,they understand good will has kept this company for a long time.

The first thing you should do is ask to have your walk risk assessed to see if a trolley can be used on it, if it's already been done ask to see a copy of it. You should not be using a trolley unless this has been done.

thank you,I'll request it to be arranged when i arrive tomorrow...dead on my start time.

i'd have no problem using a bike to get me there, its quicker than walking a due to my walk location from my office(heading inoto the city centre i'm stuck in traffic.)

HCT's are quite big, and they don't fold, not like the golf type trolleys of old. Unfortunately non motorized, you still have to push them around. Iv'e been told, once full, they can be a bit on the heavy side too.
