According to the PEC report approx 1/3 of the fleet now have telemetry installed. Does any know how we can tell? where is it installed? what does it look like?
Many Thanks

Very naive ...you sign for the van so they obviously know who's in the driving seat and therefore can trace it's whereabouts to a specific person yes they might be holding back but the data is being used to identify vehicles..... but they realy do know if your not where you're suposed to if your van is fitted with the spy in the cab

Re: Vehicle Telemetry
why are you worried about it..i saw somewhere that an agreement with the union says the data can only be used anonymously...to assist in better driving practises (bull) and yes of coarse they know whos driving but cant do bugger all about it if that's the case officially .Senior Service wrote:According to the PEC report approx 1/3 of the fleet now have telemetry installed. if your not doing anything you shouldn't be then why worry??? all our vehicles at macclesfield are fitted with it. we have just had 7/8 new vans that have not got it fitted!!! they fitted it to vans that were about to be replaced!!! with clowns like this running it i wouldn't worry!!!! the management seem more interested in taking action against drivers who have untidy or dirty vans!!!! anything but deal with the real issues ie walks etc!!!! the lunatics have taken over the asylum!!!

The dim dum's have already recived training on vehicle telemetry now wether they can access this data on computer i'm not 100% sure but they are aware of your whereabouts. I belive that comes from the chain of command again not 100% sure who is allowed access but they are aware but unable at present to act upon it

There is 2 Dum,s in my office and about 20 vans,so what with the time they (the dums) spend e-mailing their friends, online shopping, watching youtube video's I cannot imagine they would normally watch where the vans were, apart from when something goes tits up.Just imagine the logistics involved around here house's are constantly being built so any mapping software would have to be updated all the time.
