OP.... Stop and think about all that you've said, your partner sounds a Cu*t and management won't help you which is no surprise but why go above and beyond when surrounded by mediocrity?

You don't get a bonus or any better thought of for doing more than a fair share, sometimes the bigger picture really is to let it fail miserably then let the management "earn" their money by chucking bodies/hours at the job or if they deem the pairing not working let them move you, you can't be any worse off by the sounds of it.

ROYAL MAIL think less than 1% about you than you are worrying about this job unfortunately, the sooner you can get on side with that and not put pressure on yourself to complete/run around hopefully you'll start to worry less and just treat it as a job.

I know the feeling OP, and the "work your time take your breaks and go home" replies aren't really helpful if, as I am, you're just autistic enough to want to finish the work you do- especially when you take a manageable-in-the-time workload out and yet still can't finish it due to someone else

start applying for new jobs u sound depressed
No, no, no. Didn't you get the WTLL about mental health awareness? You've got to speak up. If you keep it bottled up the company won't be able to get you the electroconvulsive therapy you need to get DM26 working.
The machine stops.

This is the best advice you will get on here, had to laugh at the username though.

Agreed

Of course we are as in most jobs and most employers...we are a means to an end.
RM do not give a sh*t about me and i do not give a sh*t about RM.
Do my job-finish-leave - simple as that.
