A postwoman will be doing a skydive to raise funds for Penrith Mountain Rescue Team.
Naomie Musgrave has volunteered for the three-mile skydive on June 22 to help the volunteer raise funds for a new £1.4m base.
It is her second skydive for charity – her first raised over £1,350 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
She has so far raised over £2,000 for the mountain rescue team.
She said: “Because once wasn’t enough, I’m doing another skydive, this time to raise funds for Penrith Mountain Rescue Team.
“I find it quite sad that teams like this have to rely on charity. I spend a lot of time in the Lakes, so this felt like a brilliant cause to support.”
