It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

1st point is where is our 3-year pay deal as effective 1/4/2026 we all know the cost of living is going up. Is this deal tied to the DM 26 vote and where is the CWU on this?

2nd point, part timers that want to stay part time, where they going fit in this model since their doesnt seem to be part time walks? is their no way part timers can go up a couple of hours like 33 rather than full time hours as theres no way part timers can support this model on 25, 28 or 30 hours how can they support the 4 in 3?

It's got to be separate. The DM 26 only affects DOs and CSS operators in MCs, whilst the pay deal affects everyone.

The pay deal and the DM26 are formally separate, but it is legitimate to question why it takes RM so long to finalise the pay deal.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Thanks for all the responses on here but our union must communicate in a more fashionable manner for all of us all they do youtube stuff and email and have a website. So why can't they do basic communication to it's members who pay week in and week out?
