I've kinda given up working out how all these ideas work....I started reading then gave up.

Fed up of CWU and Royal Mail flip flopping about for months like Kier Starmer.

Union always say there’s no alternative,then blame the members and say “well you voted for it”

Vote no and let them come up with a better plan/deal👍

Well the reps have all now been to their area meetings on the CWU roadshow and they are charged with having to sell the deal to the foot soldiers at the coal face.
How many reps do killer 1500 delivery point shared van duties?
How may reps on the other hand do singleton and rural duties? In my experience it’s 90% the latter, so they will have a tough sell.

There are not enough OPG's on purpose. ODM/DM26 doesn't work. They know it, you know it, the government knows it, the poor bloody public doesn't. It will end at the end of the USO. Mad people in cars & scooters and bikes and their own vans tearing around and breaking the law all for 50p a parcel. Any letters left will go to parcel lockers and collection points (like your local corner shop...now taking local collect parcels). You can see the race to the bottom speeding up... :wave

Within 5 years no one in either DOs or MCs will recognise any part of the business compared with what it's like now.

I'm in IDGAF mode so can't be bothered to give this too much thought but the idea that 3 people doing 4 people's work can mean less work than 4 people doing 4 people's work is where fantasy enters and logic recedes.
Less calling points blah blah blah - until we are asked to do absorption down the line or similar. Then you have sickness, some people giving minimum effort - said many times before but forever true - this is in essence a simple job, so if most posties don't understand it on 1st or 2nd explanation then it has been over-complicated to the detriment of everyone.

So 3 walks per office and 5 post persons per office made full time? That’s really going to improve this situation. Unable to recruit due to the non legacy contracts being so bad, and a lot of legacy employees leaving the business.
It will take the 3 people to cover the sickness absence, sick pay is something else that has been eroded.
And who dreamed up the idea that rurals will rush to help the town rounds?

Can someone create a simple table with ODM on one side, DP26 on the other, and the difference between the two in the middle.

We have 6 sectors in our office, maybe around 150 walks. like 3 added would make a blind bit of difference

DM26 = Bad

ODM = Badder

I want to know what is going to happen in the office I work in and how it will change my working day, until each of us has that information I fail to see how you can be asked to vote
