Re: Pay rise 1st April
RM & CWU had plenty to say last couple of weeks.
No reason why RM cannot say when they are going to implement the pay rise right now.

Re: Pay rise 1st April
RM have said in their "Frequently asked questions" document that the pay rise will be paid once DM26 is agreed, so whilst we're not voting on the pay rise in the DM26 ballot I'm guessing if we don't vote "yes" the pay rise won't be paid?
I've no idea what will happen if the new starters vote "yes" to their own 1.45% pay rise in those circumstances!

Re: Pay rise 1st April
RM weren't going to miss that open goal of holding off on the payrise until the vote result.
Was always likely when negotiations ended right when it was due. What's the chances..

I thought the vote was for the 1.45% and lose the OT rate, not for the rest of us to wait for the already agreed yearly payrise ?TopperGas wrote: ↑29 Apr 2026, 18:31RM have said in their "Frequently asked questions" document that the pay rise will be paid once DM26 is agreed, so whilst we're not voting on the pay rise in the DM26 ballot I'm guessing if we don't vote "yes" the pay rise won't be paid?

The new contract starters are voting for the 1.45% but the main 3% pay rise for everyone will apparently only be paid once DM26 is agreed according to RM, although I'm fairly certain the union are saying it will be paid regardless of the vote.
I've no idea why it's now being connected to the DM26 vote when it was previously agreed we'd get a 2% pay rise . Although as the other poster says RM will never miss a trick to withhold a pay rise.

Re: Pay rise 1st April
We should not be balloting for the DM26 we should be balloting for a strike! If Royal Mail cannot abide by last years agreemeet of a payrise for all of at least 3% on time, why the hell should we believe anything they say anymore!
