Re: part timers
Good point,it’s all so confusing,I remember days when union advocated and pushed for “mirror” delivery’s meaning the person doing GP(1st delivery) had to do Irish (2nd)…..now it seems customers will be seeing 3 different posties weekly, service is terrible

Re: part timers
We had a union area rep in yesterday to discuss things wirh us and it seems as we are already a trial office we can stay with much the way he have been doing things .
He did however say he was disgusted with the deal as were many reps after hearing the plan last week. Especially the part with equalisation of new starts. This fella is usually singing the praises of the CWU but he did seem genuinely pissed off with the leadership and what they have done.

The reports are that no dissenting voices were heard at the meetings across the country.hero22 wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026, 09:56We had a union area rep in yesterday to discuss things wirh us and it seems as we are already a trial office we can stay with much the way he have been doing things .

Re: part timers
This should be a red flag. How can any business work on this basis? What happens if no one volunteers. Workers have been turning down the offer to increase hours.qwerty2 wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026, 16:55“ There will be an opportunity for part-time staff to increase their contracts on a voluntary basis.
