Unbelievable ……. investing our pensions contributions into global warming friendly stocks 💩
Dont forget that the Daniel Křetínský managed to buy Royal Mail off the back of owning loads of coal mines, coal power plants etc
What's the problem with investing in cheap reliable energy?
I've got a decent amount invested in South African coal producer Thungela.
I'm up over 12% in 4 months plus dividends, perhaps I ought to have put my money in renewables and lost money.
When did you first buy your shares in Thungela?
I've bought and sold them a few times since they were spun off from Anglo American.
They've been quite good to me over the years.
I started buying again in August.
Gosh i hope you sold before the 16% nose dive Milly 🤞
Sold them a while ago, even if I hadn't they paid out some massive dividends so the16% drop would be pretty much irrelevant, especially when I own many different shares and Precious Metals.

Funnily enough, that's where I'm going.
I'm mostly in cash at the moment, but next time I seriously invest in stocks I will be using index trackers.
I've got a Trading 212 account for dabbling in individual stocks for a bit of fun.
