Can anyone advise me, my monthly pension has decreased by approximately £40 a month and now is approximately the same as it was in 2024.
My cirumstances haven't changed - I' literally just noticed.
Would a change of tax code be accountable for this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Pension has decreased.
If your tax code has gone down, that will probably result in you paying more tax.
Mine went down in December for no apparent reason and I was taxed when I shouldn't have been, something I think happened to quite a lot of people.
I was able to change it to the correct amount via the HMRC app and got the overpaid tax back the following month.
