Seems to me the union is trying to build up some sort of industrial leverage. It's a pressure tactic designed to try and increase the CWU's negotiating power without immediately committing to any high risk escalation.

Too little too late. Fury and Walsh didn't even stand up because they obviously think they're better than the rest of us. Martin looked like he didn't even want to be there because he got told the way it is. Performing for optics does nothing to change the CWU. The CWU is the problem.

Pay deals in large unionised industries are almost never "no strings". Any pay rise we receive has been as a result of the changes that RM want
