Lieu Days

Post by rockmanrock »

Lieu days . Why can't we get them ?
I have 28 hours left after my leave allocation . I have repeatedly asked for a Lieu day for various reasons ,but have always had my request denied by my line manager.
Anyone else have this issue ?
How did others manage to secure these days off that are owed to us ?

Never. Let them mount up to a week and then pick them in the yearly pick.

Very unusual to be able to get the odd day off outside annual allocation. It's too much effort for managers to try and adjust staffing plots for just one day, seems it's outside their capabilities of you know...managing.

For the last year our managers haven't cared what day you ask for. They grant it.
You request it on the app. A few days later it is done.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
