Do you get done twice?

Post by tractorboy2 »

My birthday is in November and started receiving my age60 benefits in 2021. When the increase was added the following April , I didn't receive the full amount because of this.
My age65 benefits are due this November , so will I again not receive the full increase the following April ?
I guess you don't get 4 separate payments so if the above is true how do they split it ?

Presumably your first Age60 annual increase in 2022 would have been about a third of the full percentage, due to you only receiving it for around 4 months?
As far as I know, the same will apply to your first Age65 increase in 2027.

You won't get separate Age60 and Age65 payments, so I assume they will know how much of your total monthly pension relates to each part, and apply the annual increases accordingly.

You may also receive a 'pension payslip' with more info.
