Plentiful favours in our office for managers pets.
In our office, even the pets are beginning to see that they`re not as special as they thought.

Everyone in a DO or MC, even the managers are just a number to RM.

I foolishly worked through all my breaks this month, apart from one when I was on a van share.

I said to the DOM. I was doing that to clear my parcels and packets, I told him I would need some time in January for hospital appointments, fine he said.

So of course I reminded him at the beginning of this week, he denied all knowledge of it.

So that's it no favours, work to time, take all breaks.

He's F#&@ed himself over now 😀.

I'm also not working my days off now 👍
Why i why would anyone not take there breaks ? A whole month wtf. Sorry plain stupid post

Not that it makes much difference now but when I wasn’t on my own round I started and finished on my time and had my 40 minutes.

This Xmas period was the best I’ve ever done for tips and presents as a good number of people on my round know what us posties are going through and having to put up with hence why I tried to get it all out or 90% on a daily basis .

I'm not rushing nowadays. I shall regularly leave a loop a day so I can get my d2ds prepped. You cannot get in trouble for leaving a loop a day as long as you tell them before you go out. If they want you to take it out with you then tell them it you will bring it back as you won't have time to deliver it.
No manager can make you work over!!!!
I'm never taking a full walk of mail again unless it's absolutely dead or very doable.
All packets will be done daily and 20% of d2ds will be done daily which is what RM now prioritise.

:thumbup

Does my head in when people say they don't have time to do the d2ds, put them in and then judge what time you have left and if need be cut off

Depending on how many there is I’ve usually got all mine in by Wednesday and just take where I’m going over the rest of the week.

Nobody seems to care in our office if there’s a few carried over the following week.

Or come in after a day off with random ones in double slots left by the float/agency guy and have to guess which address it’s for. In fairness I doubt 99% of the public care if they get another set of junk mail that week anyway. Straight in the recycling bin like our house I would suspect. In a world of climate change and net zero I’m surprised the government hasn’t banned this kind of crap already anyway. Chopping down trees and wrecking the planet so dominoes can send everyone the same leaflets they had 5 weeks prior. Pure madness.

Aaah, the secret code, it's like the Freemasons. Everyone has to know the code though!
