Dashcam Style Cameras For Vans
Has anyone had these fitted yet and when you did, did management stick to the previously agreed terms of use or did they ignore rules and use the footage to bully/harass people?

None fitted yet, but we're told distribution/VOC are definitely getting these in the near future, although no date has yet been set. Front & rear cameras but no in cab camera apparently.
As an aside, I've got my own dash cam. Personally think it's worth it in a company vehicle & while accidents do happen, if you're a safe & sensible driver then they're unlikely to get you into trouble & will probably be helpful.

I agree. Those that drive the vehicles correctly will benefit in any accident investigations. Those that drive around like idiots because the vans aren't there's are the ones that need to be more careful.ihatedogs wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025, 08:25None fitted yet, but we're told distribution/VOC are definitely getting these in the near future, although no date has yet been set. Re: Dashcam Style Cameras For Vans
Someone posted it up on Reddit asking it's legality of it and whether it's classed as an obstruction of the windscreen.
this was on a Hire van, not any of the Combo/new EV vans
