Is there a Xmas Bonus this year? And is it £100 like it’s been since the 1990s

Re: Xmas Bonus
New contracts pro rata paid on the 31st, any Ideas how much a 30 hour contract would be, around the 150/160 mark? mind you that's all before tax of course..

Then 200 ÷ 37 x 30 = £162.16 so yes

Re: Xmas Bonus
Strictly speaking there are 2 x£100 pound bonuses.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑28 Nov 2025, 15:56If it's £200 for 37hrs contract

The criteria are different.
One £100 is for full time staff and those with a temporary variation of contract and pro rata for part timers.
The other is based on hours worked - so a part timer working full time hours without a variation of contract would be eligible for the full £100 but the balance is paid in January.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

4. Christmas Pay Supplement
The Christmas pay supplement of £100 for full time OPG and OSGs, pro-rated for part timers
and 35-hour full timers (subject to the arrangements in Section 7) will be paid on Friday 19th
December. The eligibility criteria for the Christmas supplement payment will be the same as
last year, based on the four December weeks (commencing Monday, 24th November). In the
event of any Industrial Action the abatement criteria will be drawn from the PBS agreement.
The separate payment of £100 (pro rata for PT and 35hr full time employees) agreed in the
National Joint Statement - New Incentive Arrangements June 2012 will also be paid on Friday,
19h December. As in previous years, any necessary top up payments for Part Time or 35 hr
Full time employees will be made in January 2026 in accordance with the actual hours worked
at standard rate, beyond contractual during 2025.
For the purpose of clarity, individuals employed on post December 2022 monthly paid OPG
terms and conditions, will also qualify for both Christmas payments for Peak 2025 in line with
the scheme arrangements.

Re: Xmas Bonus
Unless you're talking about 2026, CWU have publicised the bonus qualification and rates for this year in the LTB I've quoted a few posts above.Peabrain22 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2025, 11:32There was no word put out when they downgraded the stamps to 2nd class.. who's to say the bonus won't be cut to or even none and no word about it..
Suggest you get onto your local rep/register to receive LTB's through the CWU website or just have a search on here....it's amazing what you can find out.
