This system of feedback is so poor, the feedback is on the service as a whole you only play a tiny part in it . I have had two zero complaints both of which has been the customers fault for picking any alternative delivery address one a post office collection rather then delivery to there home , so gave zero out of ten because they stayed in all day waiting for the item
The other was delivered to marks and Spencer store which they actually picked for free delivery but thought they had asked for it to go to their home .
I no longer bother look you can’t reply to them either way so unless it a formal complaint there’s absolutely nothing you can do.
I don't really understand this, the reviews we're talking about are on the customer view part of the PDA and are assigned to whoever actually delivered the item so unless you delivered the items to the post office and m&s store then they shouldn't come up as a bad score for you, regardless of the obvious fact as you pointed out it's not your fault anyway.

The customer had on both counts made the mistake of picking alternative delivery address , but had actually thought they had picked their home address . So I have delivered correctly, but they have reviewed it as if it’s been missed delivered, without actually looking to see they hadn’t picked home delivery

So you delivered the items to the post office and the marks and spencer shop ? That's a bit unlucky that they're both also on your duty

We are like the point of a nail. All the force is concentrated at our end but it's the prick at the head with the hammer that deserves the disdain.
The machine stops.

No idea why ,but somehow I got eight 10/10 customer reviews recently 😂
Not one manager came to say well done or keep it up or even explain the reasoning behind each positive review.
Then one day ....my line manager came up to me and told me (with almost a smile) I'd got a 2/10 !!!
Took me into the office and went through the poor review.. only to find out that the low review score was because of a redelivery item that should have gone out the day before (my day off),but didn't 😕 so had absolutely nothing to do with me!
No apology from the manager....just an, "oh dear "!
Pathetic 😡
When you went through the poor review was the customer address given?
Yes pal and I was somewhat taken aback a bit as they've always been so nice and appreciative towards me before.
Like I said tho...this was really a complaint with the callers office not getting packages out for delivery on time, but this line manager thought he'd got me😂😂
I doubt customers realise it's being classed as a complaint against their postie when they are just completing a customer questionnaire?

Don’t worry. You could have a heated argument over a customers dog sinking its teeth into you. Few days later they are asked to give you marks out of 10 . What do you think they are going to say?
