A one-armed delivery driver is still picking up the plaudits - after scooping a courier of the year award. Bandit Gaz - whose real name is Gary Jones - has been recognised by the Institute of Couriers.
Bandit Gaz began working as a delivery driver in Audley seven years ago and now has an Evri round in Porthill, Bradwell and Wolstanton. He received his nickname after losing the use of his left arm in a motorbike accident in 1989 and delivers around 2,000 parcels-a-month.
In a social media post to customers, Bandit Gaz stated: "I have been awarded a courier of the year award 2025 by the Institute of Couriers. I feel honoured. Thanks to all of my customers for the positive feedback that I've received."
