They changed mine 3 weeks still ain’t used to it just cannot see the reason why
Yeah they started ours this week, as you say, it's just pointless, just another thing to make our working day more frustrating.. the only one benifit I see is if there's ever two people prepping the frame, saves em criss crossing each other..

And that would be limited to the sequence mail so still pretty pointless

You can now see why this was introduced "make sure you take the 1c mail and leave x columns until tomorrow if you are struggling to compete. The business then as a standard why of reporting 2c failures across the entire business.

That had ocurred to me as the infection spreads through the office. Still, a column as unit of measurement is about as good as a cubit: a firms duty with double wide slots could be as low as ~60DPs while a monster double-slotted close duty is pegged at 160 DPs.

Bring back bench merging for a fourth attempt, all is forgiven.
The machine stops.

I doubt the business will be that worried just as long as any failures are all reported in a similar format.

I believe that most firms walks locally have some residential on them as well. When boxing up the CSS batches with the firms walks you see roads where there aren't any firms on a firms walk.

Whats the difference between column and row as before though?

But isn't failure reporting supposed to indicate the number of DP's that have failed?

One column on one delivery frame might be 80 DP's or up to 160 on another if it's double slots.

No idea, I just can't think of any other logical reason as the RSI suggestion seems nonsense.

It's something to do with getting rid of fixed walks

We got told today...
When doing packets for 2 rounds we now have to take the 1c Mail.
Even if its busy and dont have time to deliver it.
Mamager said as long as it goes out of the office they can report a clear office.
So on a busy day it will just be out back in the frame for the next day and not reported.

Again told when we cant get to 1pm specials for two different deliveries to Scan them as Adress Inaccessible and deliver when we get there so the Clock is Stopped on them.

What a shower of s**t we now work for!
Let alone the 9am Specials that dont have to be done till 10am although sender and recipient have no idea of that🤦‍♂️

All of our 9am Reggies all get scanned as inaccessible as soon as they hit the locker. I delivered one last week at about 12.30 and the recipient said they were train tickets for an 11am train lol. The lass literally missed their holiday lol. :left:

Yes that's not funny at all, it's a f***ing disgrace, if it's actually true I hope especially that one and the rest get investigated and the manager/s who thought they could get away with it get a right bollocking, although I wouldn't hold my breath.

Agree, shocking.
What is this company becoming, pay a premium for a service & it’s completely ignored.
Sack the manager although he will probably get promoted!!
