Do I work in the only office where the mail is ridiculously low?
Most frames, that have been going out, have about a 30% call rate. The posties are all laughing about it.
A lot of tracked packets, but these are all fobbed off to the DPR drivers in the afternoon.
Can’t see how we will ever make the profits that the new owner is expecting.

My impression / guestimate from reading all available Postie forums over the last 15 months (apart from face book), is that the amount of DO that are managing mail (low volumes) appears to be the minority.

I am surprised you even have DPR! what a dream.

If i had been working in your DO i would still be working for the company and be happy as well.


My DO…. Mail call rate averaged 70%, double-treble mail every day for us new starts. No DPR and vans that you are lucky if they start in the mornings.

Apart from the start of the week, when we're usually catching up from Saturday anyway, mail seems as high as ever in our DO, there's no way we could do double mail on Weds, Thur's or Friday's, on most of the duties in our DO, you also sense customers have realised there's now more chance of 1c being delivered promptly and virtually every packet is now sent Tracked apart from the odd small and packet a couple of RD items each day.

Just as well Labour have wrecked the economy or we'd be really struggling if the UK was now booming!!
