They briefly added a break button in the original DPR trial outdoor software but either it confused the system or it was being abused or CWU didn't want it. Can't remember which right now

Re: SISO to be used for overtime
So as you are finalising the DPR manifest and setting your departure time, there is also an option to put in your break time, eg, 13.00–13.40 hrs, and the DPR route planner will then rejig and set your estimated times around this 40-minute break as well as include it in rhe estimated total journey duration.

AI Overview
The duration of a Dutch postman's route, or round, is not publicly standardized but depends on the specific route's length and the number of mail items to deliver, which can vary from a few hours to a full working day. For example, a single round might cover a specific area, handle a certain volume of mail, and take as little as six hours, but this can extend to eight hours or more, depending on the complexity and quantity of the mail.
Factors influencing the length of a round:
Route complexity: The physical length of the route and the number of streets, houses, and businesses to visit.
Mail volume: The total number of letters, cards, and parcels that need to be delivered on a given day.
Type of mail: The delivery of small parcels and large letters can take more time than standard letters.
Individual postman's efficiency: The time taken can vary based on the mail carrier's speed and experience.
Example of a postman's workload:
A single postman's day could involve sorting and delivering mail to hundreds of addresses, with the total weight of the mail also being a factor in the delivery time.
The delivery itself, for a single round, can take between six to eight hours.
