So one manager says it’s coming in October, another says Feb/ March 2026. They don’t know, they are just guessing. I did see a piece from Martin Seidenberg, CEO of IDS, the other day, he is talking about it taking months to implement.

February/March is more likely. Schedules for this year were related to the USO Pilot which has been deemed a failure so any manager still singing the tune that it is coming in in October needs to start reading his/her emails.

A new version of the pilot has yet to be fully formed and we then have to vote on it. 2026 is most likely before any implementation and then only if pilots of it, work.

All fine as long as they don’t impose executive action and force through what they want, rather than the stance taken by a weakened union.

The only thing that seems to be going live shortly is the new DSA product, DSA+3 which apparently most of the DSA+2 will be migrated over to. It'll mean the busy days when the CSS machines release lots of mail will change.
Sorry I don’t understand the dsa and css machines, do they hold mail back in mail centres until there are multiple letters for an address or it’s been there for 5 days? That’s what I heard from someone that worked in a mail centre but somebody else said no mail is held back.

We are going to be dropping Saturdays in our office in the coming weeks and going to 1 in 2 Saturdays before ODM starts. We are understaffed and fail to clear so the thinking is there will be more spare staff available Monday to Friday.

Must be awful if your in a pilot office, suffered under the ODM for 6 months then teased by Martin that a new “better” model might be possible, then 5 weeks of absolute radio silence and rumours that the ODM is still gunna happen anyway. This is no way to treat a membership that pays them absurd wages, but then we have already knew that for years.

You know that "friend" that always asks for a lend of money and says they'll pay you back on Friday but never ever does?

Then just f***s off one day with everyone's 'lended' money.

That's Martin Walsh and Dave Ward, filling up their bank accounts.

Part of the briefing last week was the 2 shift options, something I thought after was if it goes ahead some non legacy contracts will be required to fill 3 vacant rounds and the day off cover, how will that work if they have to cover DPR on a Sunday?
