What is the latest on the USO changes then?

Post by Rage24 »

For someone who isnt really keeping up with it all, no longer 3 people to 4 duties? I've heard we can keep the duties we are on now?

What's the latest?

Who knows, silence from the CWU is concerning to say the least.

They may be under a NDA but at least come out and say that

Both sides haven’t got a clue - nothing will happen till after Xmas
It’ll be madness to start now coming up to the busiest months

Considering the frequency of managers being in longer than typical meetings recently, I'd lean more towards them trying to ram it in before "pressure".

Could be completely wrong, but I just don't get the feeling this is being planned to succeed.

All USO planners and project managers have been redeployed to the SISO linked to pay project now. The thought is that if they can't get any money out of USO this year do a massive rollout of the SISO project and hope to claw a few pounds back from those pesky postman who book an hour pro delivery and clock out 20 mins early. Little do they realised that once the actual hours are exposed that people are working they will have to start paying more to people so it will be canned after Xmas.

The CWU know full well it's business as usual.

I mentioned it in the union section a few days back.
Apparently our manager is being pressured to push through 4 into 3 in October. Whether that actually happens I'm not sure.
Lorry drivers saying Banchory has already started it.
Our office just finished getting the colours taped to our benches on Monday. Setup for 4 into 3.
Van shares in blue and yellow.
Rural in pink.
But like some of u are saying. An update at the end of this week could change all that.

Union are busy back slapping and wanking each other off at TUC congress so don’t expect us plebs to be given any information this week. It’s would all be too complicated for our little minds to understand anyway, only Dave Martin and the PEC have the brain power to understand these USO changes. Us mere mortals are not worthy.
