Re: Is the Robin App really a managers EGO masturbation app ?
Flexible delivery staff and non-fixed delivery duties is the only route to the efficiencies and savings the business needs to make. Our office, consisting at the moment of roughly 180 staff (a mix of legacy and new-entrant contracts), could probably cover its entire workload with no more than 120 staff if the flexibility was there to make people work properly. By way of example, as we were building ad-hoc routes for LATs yesterday afternoon, I counted 22 legacy staff stood about waiting for the SISO PDA to appear so they could sign out, all back 30 minutes or more before time, ie, over 11 hours of labour not utilised. Daily occurrence.

Seems pretty easy.hazzeem025 wrote: ↑24 Aug 2025, 09:41Add to that the fact that half the workforce can't get on it because there is no manual password reset option because Royal Mail don't allow it!

Aye man, yeah! Based on my first-hand experience working in RM for almost three years now, initially as agency, now as an employee, there is no doubt in my mind. Remind us again, CarryingMgmnt, in which year did you leave the employ of RM?SkiSunday wrote: ↑24 Aug 2025, 16:33Lol. Not every shift, but in that ballpark on busier days and most definitely during peak period. Now that I have answered your question perhaps you can answer mine. No.
Why would you come to a RM forum and brag about delivering 200 parcels per shift? It is an impossible feat unless you are doing an "Amazon" lol.

I don’t need to brag about anything. Nor do I need to explain or justify myself to you, chum. Instead, might I suggest, yet again, CarryingMgMnt, BouncedCzech, LondonsBurning, SkiSunday, et al that you join a forum more appropriate and relevant to your current job. Blue Shirts is a forum primarily for posties yet you aren’t even employed by Royal Mail. It’s actually rather nice for everyone when you confine your drivel to the Canteen on one of your racist anti-immigrant/hate threads
