Last time I rode a RM bike(late 80's) it had no gears and the tray for your bag on the front was just a wire platform so if you went round a corner your bag would fall off
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

the idea of haviing no crossbar is so that when u need to really press down on the pedals to get some speed up or going up hills is that you dont crush your nuts when the pedal gives way  .......royal mail are such caring employers in that way dont you think :cfo :lfo

True my friend, but have you felt the weight of these bikes? I should imagine the brake blocks would be on fire when coming down a steep hill loaded up with mail, sky mags, saga mags, and 6 door to dustbins

But you have to to appreciate the technical innovation involved. The fuel injection system can be infinitely variable depending on the spoon size used for the baked beans - and the exhaust can be partially closed to increase the propulsion potential of the expelled gases.
