How do you reward yourselves............

Post by rhino49 »

....... for the weeks toil?

Is a Saturday night relaxing or a thrash round the fleshpots of the local metropolis?
What's your favorite meal in or out on a saturday night ?
Or is it Sunday before you really feel up to it ?

My turn to cook tonight - Pasta and meatballs in a cherry tomato and chili sauce with a fresh basil salad and toasted ciabatta
spread with pesto to start. A nice bottle of Cabernet for Mrs Rhino and approximately 6 bottles of Peroni for me (keeping the Italian theme) Candles on the table and an open fire lit, with soul on the music machine. If we reach dessert without snoring it will be a naughty ice cream and expressos to finish.

Whatever you do - you guys deserve a reward - have a good weekend
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Case of 24 cans of Carlsberg (only £12 in Tesco!) Be lucky to drink 4 before falling asleep on the sofa, wake up about 3.00am and go to bed. I used to love weekends, now I'm lucky if I'm still awake for Dr Who. It's half past seven and I'm still going strong!!!! Time to crack open a tinny Psssssttttt.

Great post mate.

House hunting then a few beers with the missus. Then went to Zizzi's pasta restaurant. King prawns in chilli sauce with spaghetti, half a bottle of red and some garlic bread.

She had a lasagne and a diet coke (greedy cow). But she did drive home.

That is exactly what I want right now. Well, it is now at least.

8 hour duty followed by 1 hour SA delivery then 2.5 hour walk with the dogs today. Am I going to cook? Bollocks. Pizza on the way.
