Where do you keep your Shut Notices
I was just wondering where all us delivery guys keep our "Shut Notices" / P379s
i tried keeping them in my back pocket (not uniform issue trousers as iv not had them issued yet) but they kept falling out.... so iv started keeping them in my fleece jacket pocket
but where do you keep yours?

When setting up, I put one in each slot where I have a packet or recorded so that there is one ready if I need it without unwrapping layers of clothing - if I don't use one it goes in the satchel and I retrieve dry ones back at the office to use again - soggy ones go in the bin. This also marks where the packet or recorded is without defacing the customers mail.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Been doing this job for seven and a half years and I've never thought of that (what a numpty). At least you'll know you have enough 739's before you go out on delivery. It's a nightmare when you run out half way round. I think I'll start doing that. See you learn something new every day.rhino49 wrote:When setting up, I put one in each slot where I have a packet or recorded so that there is one ready if I need it without unwrapping layers of clothing - if I don't use one it goes in the satchel and I retrieve dry ones back at the office to use again - soggy ones go in the bin. Oh, in answer to the original question, inside pocket on the fleece (well not really a pocket) but during the summer when I'm not wearing the fleece in my shorts pocket. Obviously not RM shorts! Got some nice dark blue cargo pant style shorts, can't wait to get back into them, but looking at the weather forecast it won't be next week.
