No i don,t post under diff names i changed my username when i got new phone as it would'nt allow me to log in.prob happen again in a few months as new phone being got.

I've been on this forum for 15 years and had numerous phones in that time and never once have I been unable to log in or had to change my name to log in... your at it

Eh, when you log in there's the option of forgot username or password, you can enter the email address you used when you registered to retrieve your credentials, your phone should automatically save usernames and passwords to your Google /apple iPhone account if you've got that option enabled in settings, it's actually quite difficult to not be able to log in if you've previously registered.

Dont think the vertical frames have anything to do with the USO changes so dont think the CWU are trying to stop that

Perhaps RM are subscribing to the Dave Brailsford 'aggregation of marginal gains' theory.

Imagine your frame was 100 yards long and you throw it in row by row. That's 800 yards you're walking start to finish (to start point again).

With a vertical frame throwing in you're walking 200 yards start to finish (to start point again).

I bet the bean counter that thought of this had the proverbial dream when they realised this. Just think of all the hundreds of miles posties walk while throwing in that'll be saved. More time to walk those miles outdoors.

An inflation-only pay rise is no pay rise at all. At the end of 3 years your wages will be worth exactly the same as now.

The CWU have given RM all the co-operation they wanted with USO reform, and in return they accept a zero pay rise for 3 years?

That's not the case.......
If we vote it in, we will get a 4.2% pay increase that's above inflation. If the next two pay rises after that are based on inflation, because of the first above inflation pay rise, that'll push our wage even higher.
It's just basic maths.

Unless they shorten the rounds and so increase the staff number then it won't work, as there's no way double/triple mail can be delivered every day on the present rounds. I've no idea how all posties can stay on their same rounds if 2c is only going out on alternative days, as what do they do on a 1c/Tracked day?
