Result. I think that will turn out to be the most realistic deployment date for most.

The only thing that seems to be going live shortly is the new DSA product, DSA+3 which apparently most of the DSA+2 will be migrated over to. It'll mean the busy days when the CSS machines release lots of mail will change.

Re: Update on the USO Pilot Units bulletin 1
How the hell was this ever going to work in the first place. Offices needed to be fully staffed for it to work and then you have maybe 5% of staff always on sick so there will always be a time when not 100% of staff will not be present. You you imagine you are in a partnership with two other people covering 4 duties and one goes sick and they have no cover then them duties will be absolutely full of mail within 3-4 days which will make it impossible to catch up. I've said all along 3 to 4 duties does not work. It needs one person to one duty always.

Re: Update on the USO Pilot Units bulletin 1
We were briefed today by a manager of another office, that our changes were coming in during October, that the trials were successful and that any information we have seen is wrong because the union are subject to a non disclosure agreement.
We are being offered 2 choices of shifts, 2 in 5 Saturdays off or 2in 6 as part of a rotation week. We were informed that the method will be the ODM, with 3 people doing 4 duties. As far as I am aware, with no representation in our office, the CWU were not involved/invited.

When asked about headcount now against the ODM, he could not give a clear answer but mentioned people could be moved to other offices within 6 miles. Presumably every office would be having a similar reduction, so even though they may be under manned now, they wouldn’t be after implementation. He also said VR terms were not finalised.

Please god not another CWU YouTube video, we would be better off with no more information than being subjected to another one of those dead rubbers. A proper update from the business is what’s needed.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑04 Sep 2025, 06:22Do you mean an official one from RM or one of those cwu YouTube sessions ?
