The funny thing is I too have a bad knee and will eventually have to have a knee replacement, which I am putting off for as long as possible, I dread the thought of going in hospital and picking up something really serious. I was never given a choice of duty though. I have always picked a duty like everyone else but times change I suppose.

No. I have heard of it but joined the other one "Foresters" I think and although I can claim for lots of things I never have. The only time I've claimed on any insurance is for the car - I never think to claim on the house or contents or medical. I've always got things fixed straight away stupidly of course, I only think of the insurance after.

It's the thought of going in hospital that puts me off not the money - I bet you can hear me clucking from there :oops:
