Those longer days are looking better and better - 1 get Thursday and Sundays off and spend at least part of them recuperating.

How would these 4 day weeks work if you were part time? A bit extra on delivery, but as in my office the only work in office is throwing our walks off, I can't see it happening for P/T. 5 days off every 3 weeks sounds great, a lot better than 3 days every 6 weeks. Saying that I used to do 6 days every week like most and that was easier than the 5 days we do now.

Are you in the England Cricket team? Where I come from cricket isn't a sport but a form of community serviceasbru wrote:I want my weekends back. Sundays are just a recovery day for me, I never get a long weekend as I'm not on a rota and funnily enough I don't get given Saturdays or Mondays off. I never seem to have time for anything anymore and I'm like a zombie playing cricket at weekends.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Long Weekend
I had a 4 day duty for 4 years until September last year and loved the long weekend every 3 weeks then A-hole DUM put me back on 5 days.
