Looks like RM have decided after all to make DSA be classed as 2C, that's going to mean a lot more stuff being deferred by the DTS everyday, we already average 50% deferred already, I'm thinking we'll be hitting 75-80% or maybe more. I think RM may have underestimated how much will end up being deferred as a result.

There's going to be a lot more mail being released when loads of stuff hits the five day limit. There's a new product DSA Premium being brought out which will be classed as 1C, we'll have to see if many DSA companies choose that over the existing DSA product.

Apparently when a DO goes over to the new USO stuff, EVERYTHING will be released for that DO on the day it goes over to flush out any old data for that DO, and any new data is under the new way.

All of this just sums up what a nonsense RM has become. They’ve completely over complicated what was a simple easy business model.
The problem with today’s executives and management is they’re totally married to spreadsheets and data. This is also why the country itself is in a mess! These idiots can’t and don’t understand real life so rely totally on the nonsense churned out by technology. Until we get back to reality and react to what actually happens on the street this business will never recover.

Prob too late , if they go ahead with the trials and push them in , morale will be at an old time low, staff wont go the extra mile to help out, sick absence through roof, stress, exhaustion , arguements everywhere. 3 tier workforce wont help either. Just crazy ,

They are allowing the machines to be in control, rather than use the machines to aid human ingenuity.

The predominant trend of this century is ever increasing centralisation to remote powers, which arose off the back of the previous century's trend of increasing communication. The true state of affairs is increasingly approximated with remoteness.

Ideally (heavy emphasis), local management should be managing the unit under the logic that they would be best equipped with the knowledge to react to the challenges of the operation. Instead a giant data centre consuming as much power as a medium sized town is going to be chugging on the data before finally telling you to walk to a nonexistant address with the same electricity bill you've killed off 63 weeks running.

Oh, to go back to a lone telex machine in the admin's office.

Port Stanley! That’s great.

True what you wrote. The data is in control and managers have handed themselves over to it.

No. There is no further deployment. All that is happening on 28th July is that RM is allowed to deliver 2c every other day etc. However, it still has to meet the same delivery targets until April next year.

Only you can answer that, do you want to work longer days to get more days off?

Depends if the longer days means more time out on delivery or doing other less physical work

The longer days mean more time out on delivery with reduced indoor prep time.
