Is anyone sick and tired of the contempt and sarcasm members receive from our CWU officials? I get they must hear the same thing over and again but I find it wholly unprofessional when they respond in this way. Gives off holier than thou vibes and makes you wonder what they really think of us all. It makes me wonder if they truly don't understand the discontent that exists within the rank and file and the hardships of the day to day of the job.

They clearly do. The difference being the members pay for all of this. Its not a charity.

I could do. Might do when I see what "deal" we get proposed. Though I actually think the best way to change is from within. I believe this lot should be open to criticism without being told to just leave the union instead.

Iv not said im going to leave. Quite the contrary really. They've not been asked the same questions though have they? They are just seeing it. The same as I see it. Which given there are thousands of members that is always going to happen. Not everyone see's the same replies so will ask a repeat question. The fact they lack the awareness and empathy to understand this is worrying. Hence my post.

I stopped paying subs and don't expect anything. Can't have it both ways.
They behave like this because they feel immune and on the whole they are. The majority of the bag avoiding full time release mob have been freeloading for decades. You have two choices. Either boot the lot out or stop sponsoring their cushy lives.

Why has this forum become so anti union I think the job would be a lot worse without there input however bad we might think it is there have been some shocking deals going back decades but without there voice in the workplace think how unbearable it would be and it’s bad now come in on time do your job to best of your ability go home on time and take your money at the end of the week simples
Probably due to the fact they have willingly helped destroy this job for tens of thousands whilst being lead by a charlatan who just accepted a CBE from the king.
