Door to Doors

Post by celerycelery »

We were told today that as we get paid for d2d items on top of our wages we must prep them in our own time. So this surely means they are voluntary not compulsory. :hmmmm

They are compulsory

They should be prepped in duty time. This thread is on the same subject http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/forum/vi ... +agreement

and this is the document/agreement http://www.cwu.org.uk/uploads/documents ... EEMENT.doc

That's not true. Door to Doors are to be prepped in duty time.

Teebs or Postman can post the relevant agreement whenever they come online.

This one keeps coming up :cuppa

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Don't print it off, just don't prep them in your own time, prep them in your duty time which will now make you late and you could possibly have trouble finishing your duty.
Let them f***ing scream and have steam coming out of their ears.
Let them suspend you,let them try to kick your arse, let them do what they want, the lying c***s.
Cause your back is covered.

Sorry, but this grates me big time.

Totally understand your frustration but these days it seems that every office are getting told different things regarding all aspects of delivery. Need something like this site to check out facts and the truth from the lies. I know at our office they lie every day and threaten us with conduct code at every opportunity. My worry is that when a few bring up this kind of thing the other 90% sly away and say nowt.

Yeah did notice it was about 10 years old. I guess nothing new has been agreed since then regarding d2d so this one is the one that we need to shove in there faces. Notice payments aint gone up either since 1997 when this was brought out
