new duty after returning from holiday. Never heard of the streets, and i live local

No drop points in second half of duty so its back the way we come

took me 4 hours 10 although now i know it i reckon its possible in 3 hours 40ish. Not many parcels i'm told but a lot of dead walking, 1 drop point would help .

Claimed 2 hours overtime :Very Happy needed  badly :chuckle

Same duty tomorow :nana

Had such a wonderful Day. Represented one of the boys today on a Stage One. Queired every abscence on his record. Wanted Proof of every Return to Work. What should have took in total 5 mins lasted over 45. He then couldnt make his decision until he checks everything. Saw him later typing up the notes of the interview He didnt look to pleased. :Very Happy

Im 99% sure its gonna be issued. But wanted to tie the Line Manager up for a couple of hours. I had a look at the absecnce reporting list yesterday. if you ring in sick they click on the Flu Like Symptons line nearly everytime even thou there about 80 others listed. Wanted to know why after 3 sick leaves with the same problem they hadnt sent him to Atos.

It's working

Well - the longs and shorts are into their second week and are working splendidly - we are getting extended delivery on the short days and finishing early on the long days - perfect. I suggested to the DOM that maybe, despite our combined efforts to comply with the decree from above we would be better with all equal days and he looked pissed off and said "that is not what THEY want".

"THEY", it seems want to continue devising cunning plans that don't work, because "THEY" cannot organize a piss up in a brewery or pull all the different factions of our business together to support each other rather than compete with each other. (My words - not the DOM'S - don't want to lose him yet - he's human)

First real bit of sun here in S. Manchester, after a rather dull, cool and depressing morning. Busy, ish day, but not the worst I've seen for a Thursday

Heavy day on a big round, tied up on 16kilos bags and 9 11kilos bags, as I can't use the bike because of my hand, I had to walk the entire lengths A-B, even had to walk to point A. Used a golf a trolley but that was longer and took proper break, all in all took me 2hours extra to finish, can't wait to see manager face when I tell him I am booking over esp as I did it by the book *L*
