AGs - Always On the S****y end of the stick!

I've been an AG on 30hrs for last year and a half - and what you say is SO right! AG's are put under pressure to do most of the stuff Full Timers do except IPS, but the pressure is getting rediculus with not enough time to prep.

The whole company is a JOKE. It's a real mickey take. It's the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED FOR.......

So.....Tomorrow is the day I resign!

For what AG's get paid it's quite honestly not worth the bother. Life is short. Money helps, but ANYTHING is better than being used as a Royal Mail MONKEY.

P.S. Although management is crap, I have the highest regard for fellow postmen and postwomen - they are the nicest most friendly and helpful folk I have ever had the pleasure of working with!

RM is Amateurish , you'll get the old school RM military style hierachy with all it's pettiness and the worst of the "brave new world " corporate culture dictated from on high . You get the same old managers toeing RM's line otherwise they'd be down the road, handling this badly .

AG's on Planet RM are glorified casuals in uniform , there is a lot of factionalisim and division but that's what RM wanted , long before L&C . There's the command and ignore with the deadbeats , lost causes as they are embrassing . The culture is s****. Alan's great place to work?- you don't hear much about that these days LOL

There are no AGs - you are part timers - just like me - who was full time took buy down and now part time. AGs was 20+ years ago and has been gone 5 years. RM are using part timers as mules, willing donkeys who'll do whatever to make up their hours. Perhaps it's time the CWU took on that fight - some of out part timers are working 70 hours a week!
