I'm done listening to all the lingustic garnish from both parties. Cancelled my sub. RM will just continue to lie and deceive. The CWU will continue to fall for all the bluff and bluster. I am now seeking an alternative employer....hopefully one that doesn't try to punish its staff for working hard or grind them into the dirt

How much do the CWU make in subs - over 10million a year at least (i think it might be quite a bit more)
Someone will know the true figure

A complete joke these corrupt shysters

Think pay deal will be announced separately.
Pay deal will b 4% over 2 years, they can dress it up how they want but that’s what Will happen
Well wide of the mark.
Trust me only details being thrashed out are about closing the pay gap which may come from the pension pot not the new RM owner

“It’s best we could get”

“You should’ve seen what they wanted”

“The company are skint”

Only thing left now is the new owner to force a strike scenario because before this latest farce the appetite would have been 10% yes vote now I’d put money on less than 5%.

Working for RM is the first time that I’ve been a member of a Union. Could those with more experience tell me, if we all cancel our membership do we just take whatever pay deal that we are given?
If we were all to effectively sack the cwu,we have no representation at all
Yes we do - Employment Laws

And which of those laws entitles us to a pay rise?
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

If the company doesn't give staff a pay rise it will continue to keep losing staff, if the CWU really was looking after it's members they'd have never allowed RM to run trials/pilots which effectively double our work loads, whilst coming out with nonsense about us only walking 12,000 steps a day.

How could the union stop the trials/pilots?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

So having rejected around 4% for this year they will now settle for 4% over 2 years utter rubbish.

instruct its members to not participate in any form of planning or organisation of them. Leave it entirely up the managers and planners. Do as instructed and no more.

Are members actually involved in any of the planning?
