This is the problem with the CWU now speaking like management.

If you dont like it work someware else is hardly constructive evading the concerns of staff yet again.

it would be helpful if you responded to each one of my points of criticism with an objective retort instead of positive spin and evasion. It is all about a matter of trust.
Well said 👏

People who moan constantly, rarely take any responsibility for their own actions causing many of the issues they complain about.

People are still ghosting. You can’t claim that your workload is too high when you have managers staring at screens of data telling them otherwise.

The union can’t help people who won’t help themselves.

Is anyone working in a pilot office having a positive experience?

Is it all working amazingly well?
Martin Walsh says no in the latest cwu live.

In these pilot offices does the CWU have any input in what is being proposed?
Have a read of the WSWS/SEP output. They say no. Martin Walsh admitted he's lied again in the latest cwu live as it's not working. Martin Walsh said everything had to be right before any experiment went live.

CSS machines are now being removed.

How can this be possible when Parliament has yet to agree any USO changes?
Royal Mail are behaving like it is a done deal.
The removal of CSS machines does not need Parliamentary approval. Ward and Walsh's experiment is designed to avoid the need for legal change. ODM is designed to give maximum profit by changing the operation without breaching the legal requirements.

As mentioned previously

Royal Mail are now removing CSS machines and the USO changes have still to be agreed by parliament.
Royal Mail will implement these changes no matter what the CWU states through executive action and there is nothing they can do about that.

It’s RM’s plan. The union forced them to trial it.

USO changes will need parliamentary approval as it is part of the Postal Services Act.

The CWU have agreed the changes. The industry has been honest about it's intentions and actions. The dishonesty is purely from the CWU. Lie after lie after lie.

ODM does not requirement Parliamentary approval. Thats the whole point. The regulator broke ranks this week when it appeared weak as the tripartite attack on the service was exposed. Parliament is a bit pissed off with the regulator for it's complicity with the industry. Ward has implied another select committee is looming. The regulator is going to face tough questions.

Parliament is the supreme legislature, not the Regulator.

Only parliament can amend or repeal primary legislation

That being the Postal Services Act which incorporates the USO.

I completely agree. That's not what's happening here. ODM does not change the current USO requirements.
