5th June deal Update.

It appears there is no update. Anyone in the know actually know what is worth knowing?

This union has form of keeping paying members in the dark about important issues. Dave and Martin don’t need a payrise and won’t suffer under the new uso though so it’s all hunky dory really.

Ah another boring YouTube live session, pretty much guarantees that no agreement has been reached then. Just be the usual garbage, talks are complicated, intense, positive, progress has been made on issues, talks extended for further two weeks. Rinse and repeat for the whole of the summer then surrender to some half arsed 4% payrise with a bit of back pay and a million strings attached in the Autumn by which point we will be having a right laugh with the new USO.

So what were the 3 'deals' offered by our actual employer that have been turned down by the CWU then?

Cancel your subs folks because these so-called representatives of ours are taking the f***ing piss.

I think its high time the current leadership of this union are cleared out and we get some fresh blood in. Preferably someone who has actually spent some time out on delivery to understand what they keep signing us up to and giving away.

Don't forget that it's also deliveries that vote the s**t deals in. Delivery staff outnumber MC staff by about 8:1 if the numbers in a recent thread are accurate.
