I noticed there is a letter from OFCOM giving RM a bit of a telling off this week. It's in regards to RM preemptively informing customers about letter changes. OFCOM has reminded them that their decision has not yet been made so they shouldn't be doing that.

We are supposed to be implementing this before October, like a lot of you have said we struggle to complete now, so how will you when doing double mail every day, especially come pressure time November onwards.

And not a word from that tinpot union, the CWU. Anyone would think that the CWU was no longer an independent trade union.

My reference is the letter from OFCOM, not the pay talks.

It may be covered in that if someone asks the question.

Wouldn't it be great if OFCOM now announced later this summer they wanted to closely monitor a 6 months long trial in a number of DO's to make sure the proposals were feasible?

They'll probably criticise OFCOM?

When do the trials finish?
When it’s been introduced into every office in the country.

Q could get rid of the CWU for us !

It would be hilarious if Ofcom said No USO changes - that would screw RM & CWU & New Owner
If only

Ha, ha, ha - sorry, since when have OFCOM held RM's feet to the fire apart from trying to keep up appearances with the odd fine and this letter which I'm sure will have DK quaking in his boots.....not.

Day one, 2 people in a van share clear everything on walks A and B. The third person on their own does 1st class and packets on walks C and D.

What’s happens when you hit time & you still have 4 loops left & the third persons got a three quarter full of tracked packets in his/her van?
If hitting time is end of duty that means it’s time to home 😂

Unfortunately the Workforce have no idea what is on the Horizon with this new way of working. Ostriche heads in the sand come to mind.
