How about getting back to the basics of just making sure that every bit of paper goes through the hole in the door on the day it was meant instead of piss balling around with effing apps!!!!!!

Considering it's the new place for all the stuff that's on the people app, then I would say it makes sense. :cuppa

I tried to register for this thing - out of curiosity but got lost.

The instructions are confusing to follow.

I did not have a workplace account already (just the people app-i assume they are/where different ?).

Eventually followed through got this microsoft email account but i had no password because it is a new email address generated just for me.

Had to follow the forgot password link to end up at the end with an error message.

Hope that was clear ??

What a load of rubbish
Yes exactly the same with me. Manager told me it was so easy to do too
I had the same problem not knowing the Microsoft password when registering. I finally solved it by going into the people app, click on workspace, and your username and password is shown. Use these credentials to login/register for robin.
Thank you for clearing up where the username and password were in the People App as I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out what I was supposed to do as there seemed to be no way of resetting my password. I didn't even the know the royal mail.co.uk email address was for Workplace as I've never used it. Now all I need to do is figure out what Robin is for.

So what's on this people app that's important, that's now on Robin?

Someone showed me their Robin app and all it is, is a sort of social media for RM and if you want to see your wage slips or holidays you click on a link to the Peoples App but still have to sign in to it the same way as if you went straight to the Peoples app

Once you sign in once to the Robin app if you have downloaded it you don't need to sign in again on either the Robin or Peoples app, you also don't need to enter the pin code to access your pay slip, for once it's an actual improvement.

No user name or password is showing when I click on workplace on the People App, I only see a royal mail.com email and no option to prompt for a password reminder. Explained this to IT Helpdesk last Thursday, they tried various ways without success to access Robin. Still haven’t heard back from them after they give me an incident number and said I would hear back very soon.

So do you need both apps?

Do I HAVE to download this? Or can I just stick with the people app?

This whole thing has been extremely poorly communicated! No one knows what it’s for, some say it’s to replace People App, others say it’s just a social media app, half can’t get on it even after finding the email & password details. Bloody joke - it’s either something we need or we don’t, just communicate what it is & why we need it.
