Re: Royal Mail YouTube
Hang on a minute.....he said we get more mail these days. When I started you could get your round on the front of your bike. Could you get your round on the front of a bike these days? No, of course you couldn't, and they tell you the mail has dropped off. Compared to what, might I ask.
Stupid friggin job this is
Oh, and a little pleb in our orifice could go on holiday for a week in that trike

I suppose there is no other explanation than letter volumes have not declined? The fact that this phenomenon is being reported across the world just proves that there is an international conspiracy of lies just to get you to work a bit harder

Well, when I started there was hardly any mail. So by your deduction, there is even less than hardly any mail nowadays?Brain Fury wrote:Compared to what it used to be!Tuffers1875 wrote:Hang on a minute.....he said we get more mail these days. Re: Royal Mail YouTube
Can we stop making it personal. Its childish and adds nothing to any ones position, in fact it detracts from it.
The argument about volume decline and its minimal impact on individual posties tends to ignore some major issues.
There are 60,000 fewer people working at Royal Mail.
We are out delivering for a far longer time.
The deliveries are larger.
We deliver more parcels.
We deliver more D2Ds.
All of this makes the decline in letters look minimal because each individual postie now delivers a lot more daily then they did 11 to 12 years.
But then Royal Mail continues to ignore the sacrifices their work force has made for the real improvements in efficiency and flexibility. Just wish Royal Mail Management would realise they now need to become more flexible and more efficient towards their employees, otherwise improvements in productivity are going to be hard to come by.

These 'auditors' ought to do some reading about how much further you can get wearing business casual, a hi-viz, a hardhat, and carrying a clipboard. But getting all up in people's faces brings in the views, I guess.
The machine stops.

Just get the managers out there with a brush and shovel for 5 minutes lol. RM will probably be begging the government to send in cavalry (folk on community service) for a swift backhander instead though.Mr Rush wrote: ↑27 May 2025, 20:09Is this the new independent regulator?twoloops wrote: ↑27 May 2025, 18:15This is cringe worthy brilliant I wish he would turn up at every Royal Mail office
