Three masked robbers tried to ambush a delivery van and steal parcels just days after another driver was stabbed.
Described as wearing masks over their nose and hoodies, they ran towards a DPD delivery van in Vicarage Lane, Kings Langley, at around 11am yesterday (May 19).
The victim believes they were trying to steal from the van, but they were unsuccessful and made off in what is believed to have been a silver vehicle.
According to Herts Police, the incident took place just before the high street in Vicarage Lane. The direction they left in is unknown, police said.
On Friday (May 16), a man in his 20s was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in Rucklers Lane, Kings Langley.
Herts Police launched an investigation, including looking for CCTV, and have since confirmed it is being treated as a robbery - during which it is believed parcels were stolen.
According to a member of the public who claimed to have seen the aftermath, the victim was a DPD driver.
