When did you give your acceptance of the offer, for those? If it was early in the process, you would likely get the sale proceeds ahead of those who waited til the last possible moment

Hi, yes my nominee shares have also been taken out of my account ( equiniti). I'm presuming it's because they are being prepared to being sold? I've had no confirmation about it from equiniti, so calling them tomorrow.... just to double check 😉

I noticed this last friday. Phoned them up (Equiniti). I was worried i'd only accepted sale of nominee shares. They said no. You have accepted to sell both. Nominee shares being dealt with first.

What are nominee shares? I only have shares bought through the payroll scheme. Most are still taxable so it says. Is that the case and some can't be sold. I'm confused.

All the shares I have in IDS are still showing on my SIP account.

That is:

Free Shares
Partnership Shares
Matching Shares.

I, like many others received 3 letters asking me to give my selling intentions, which I did (accept offer to sell) each time. Got an email to say that due to an error I shouldn't have been asked to do it again and again - like others did on here too.

So, I'm probably just worrying about nothing, but have I done absolutely everything I need to do to get them sold?

Exactly the same with my shares, all still showing as yours are. Not sure what nominee shares are, I don't think I've seen any of mine referred to as such. I have the free shares we got at privatisation and have also brought some though payroll. I agreed to sell each time they asked me to but have had no confirmation by letter or email.

You might have RM shares in an Equiniti(EQ) nominee account if you've left the company and therefore had to transfer them out of the SIP, chosen to transfer them, or bought them them yourself via EQ.

Nominee shares are held electronically by EQ and other brokers, on the behalf of their owners, rather than having paper certificates:
https://www.shareview.co.uk/4/Info/Port ... ominee.asp

If you're selling your SIP / P&M shares via the takeover acceptance procedure, there will be no tax to pay on any of them.

More info on that and the whole takeover process is here: https://www.myroyalmail.com/sites/defau ... _FINAL.pdf
