So as of next weeks minimum wage increase.. the “new” type contract are more or less on minimum wage with no payrise in sight.. because they “are not allowed” to make changes during the take over? RM full of crap, and the union is a crock of shite.

There's simply answer - STRIKE!
The CWU will not get the support from the membership for that. People have not forgiven the surrender after 18 days of strike action 2 years ago. Work to rule action is the way.
People in the minority always seem to think that they are the majority. If there was a ballot in the near future, the majority would vote to strike.
I can remember around 95% of people on here who said they would vote no in the last ballot. It was almost a 76% yes vote.
I also think the Union are doing the sensible thing by waiting. People really need to engage their brains more before posting some of the comments.

I'd vote no, it's the 33,000 who don't vote at all that I never understand

So it's fine for the business and union to agree more changes not in the last agreement now, but we get no pay rise at all, likely til late in the year at best. Well I hope the Union will not be squeamish about calling a strike at that time, when it's clear we will be getting shafted again.

I think they should have a serious think about giving the new contract folk some sort of intermediate rise to be confirmed/adjusted whatever in due course, as of next week they'll be on 34p per hour more than minimum wage it's not good enough, some of ours are getting a bit pissed off and talking about looking for another job.

They should be paying processing staff minimum wage and give delivery a pay rise.

The union need to be cautious in case there's any gotchas in the last agreement that would allow RM to walk away from stuff.

Don't think it's going to be too long before EVERYONE is on minimum wage. If the figures are right in another thread, delivery staff now outnumber MC and RDC staff by 8:1 RM wouldn't make much savings by just putting MC staff down to minimum wage.

Probably something to do with the majority of local reps and 100% of divisional reps having all their eggs in the non-delivery basket. Clowns 🤡

The Union played a blinder, no pay rise but agree to USO Pilots. The majority would vote whatever the Union tells them to. Follow the chain of order 🫡
