I thought PCOD was supposed to be the ultimate proof of delivery to end all fraudulent claims? Isn't that why it got rolled out to every goddamn Tracked, Specials, and most internationals?

just been told about this today. Tracked is going to change, where the customer has to provide you with a pin number in order to receive the parcel. So if this is on every tracked item, it seems you will be bringing back half your items every day as you simply cant deliver it anymore regardless if customer in or not. If correct this will put endless time on duties we already struggle with, where is the logic?

Hopefully this will be just for higher value items where at present you need a signature, basically RM, or it's customers, don't trust posties to get signatures and so are forcing them to physically hand over the item to the customer, unless they just give you the pin via the Ring camera!

How will this work with multiple occupancy where you deliver parcels to reception? Delivering to students will be interesting too? More ways to reduce the profitability of each parcel. As with letters, are they making parcel delivery over complicated and expensive to make way for Daniel's parcel lockers?

We haven't been told this but we're told we are now going back to having Van Keys attached to our belts via clip so we always take the keys out the van.

I was told in the meeting it was for age verification parcels, not for normal tracked.

Hopefully retailers will warn them as part of the checkout process
