It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

66064 and 19100 = 77% for those that voted YES

67.06% Turn Out

52.02% of those that could vote did vote Yes.

That is very emphatic if my figures and theirs are correct

According to BBC news 24 it is 66% yes.

Turnout not known yet.

BBC have mentioned that there are strings to the pay offer (haven't gone into detail)

We must let the public know what RM are doing to us.
We need their understanding and support

Remember the public don't know

RM agreed to meet national average wage eventually as part of last year's deal.
We're expected to take more D2D without being paid
We're expected to accept summer lapsing
RM wants later starts which means later deliveries
and all the rest

Typical RM are already showing propaganda on the TV - the library clip on news24 shows the slowest sorting by a postie I've ever seen. Subliminal propaganda trying to prove that we are under worked.
