Whats the max time that you are allowed on full sick pay before it gets cut to half pay?

6 months full , 6 months half.

More accurately, they drop you down to half pay as soon as you have had a total of six months full sick pay in any 3-year period.

So if you were to have had say 2 months off with a broken metatarsal in 2006, and were now signed off with some totally different problem in 2008, you'd find you would be on half-pay after only four months :sad:

then its no pay but remember when u go to half pay you get ssp as well from the social as u pay your stamp
